What is a learning journey?
A learning journey is a process for exploration a discovery that emphases getting into the field and having intense immersion experiences in different contexts, ideas and perspectives.

Finding the future
A learning journey is about finding the future in the present interrelating with people, places and phenomenon that represent some aspects of how the world is changing.

Comfort zone
A learning journey is also about getting people out of their comfort zones and normal environment to re-perceive possibilities and trigger breakthrough insights at the personal, team and organisational level.

The power
Learning journeys have a wide range of applications-from leadership development, team development, market development, global development, to a specific focus on innovation and strategic renewal and self-development. In fact, the power is that they combine all these elements in a highly integrated way.

In the midst of an African village
The participants are received in the village and are given a Toma, a namesake in the village that they have something in common with. The Toma is selected by the women in the Village based on some personal details about the participants they have sent before they arrive to the village. The group is welcomed traditionally and have a handful oF Kola nuts for the Village head. The Tomas are invited to visit their friend-families and to see their compound and their farm. They will share the everyday life of their hosts, but still be able to go back to the camp in the evening to reflect on the days experiences individually and as a group. “The biggest challenge for a person is not public speaking, but public dancing” (Anthony Robbins). We use cultural expressions as a resource and a tool for the module.

Modules
The modules are customised for the groups’ or individual requirements. Often the length of the module is one week/ten days. We compose the modules to ensure the best outcome possible. We cautiously plan intensity, length and ingredients.
